Obviously that's a rhetorical question but I'll answer it anyway. Of course she wouldn't approve of that.

But that's besides the point. As we've discussed earlier, the notion is that she is unaware of Vaseline's operations, as I'm sure most people don't know either. I didn't know this myself until you started this topic. Once it was brought to my attention I made a decision, and now I'm boycotting all Vaseline products for the rest of my life.

Although this whole deal with Vaseline and the celebrities does do its share of advertising for them. It's really more about raising money for charity. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Hilary Duff, Jacqueline Bisset, Kim Raver, John Leguizamo, Minnie Driver, Dave Navarro and Regina King are also a part of it.

The important thing right now is to make these celebrities aware of what's going on. Until we know that they know... there is nothing bad to be said about any of them. All they know is that they are raising money for a good cause. I don't think they are doing it to promote Vaseline. What they are doing it for is to raise money for The CSD (see here and here). This is where 100% of the money is going to. It may be possible that these celebrities aren't even being paid by Vaseline and that they just simply volunteered to help the cause. Do we know for sure that they are accepting money from Vaseline?

These celebrities know they have the power to make a difference. And when somebody approaches them and asks them if they want to help raise money for certain organization, I think it's good that they are willing to help. It's not like Vaseline contacted Amanda and said, "Hey we are doing a new charity for The CSD, maybe you would like to help out... by the way, we test our products on animals." I'm 110% sure they left that last line out.

So we can't get upset with any of them for doing this, like I said, all they know is that they are doing a good thing. All we can do is bring it to their attention. And PETA should be able to do that.
