Do you know ANYTHING about racing and it's history? Do you want me to post clips and acess their abilities against each other, because trust me none of those guys you mention are remotely in the stratosphere of Senna, Schumacher, Fangio, Mansell, Fittipaldi etc. |
I've been watching races my entire life so don't tell me I don't know anything. Juan Pablo Montoya(who came from the open wheel ranks) said himself that Nascar is alot harder to drive than the open wheel cars are. He said it right out of his own mouth man. I don't even know who senna, Fangio, Mansell are so I can't say if they are good drivers. All I can say is that the guys that I mentioned (Stewart, Gordon...etc) are the best in Nascar. I bet you anything Schumacher couldn't keep up with the guys in Nascar on the oval tracks. He would hit the wall 10 times in one race. I also bet you that Jeff Gordon would smoke him on one of the road races in a cup car.
Just because Nascar doesn't run many road tracks doesn't mean they have bad drivers. If F1 is so much better than why are all the drivers wanting to come to Nascar?
