There's a number of great points being made here. Mostlycoming out against the paps. But that's understandable. The thing is, it's a double edged sword fame and the paps. As if you're famous, having paps comes with the territory. Sometime they can be nice, other times they can be not so nice. Sad to say that there's no real control over when paps can and cannot take pics of people like Eliza. I think then that could bring a person, say Eliza, into controlling their image and may distance themselves from their fans. So you can't bee too relaxed about the paps taking peoples pics, but at the same time you can't have it being too controlled due to the way of the world. Though I still feel that if a person's coming out of a restaruarnt, then they shouldn't have 5-10 paps taking 100s of pics of them. At a film prem, yes, as that's a public occasion. Not when they're walking through a supermarket.
Oh I haven't used the word celebrity in this post, as I feel that's a word to describe someone who is famous (and usually talentless) for being famous. As Eliza isn't this, then I don't describe her as a celeb. |
