Sucks for you. Allergic to painkillers? Did they refuse to give you any?
ibuprofens are no good for pain. When I had my shoulder pains 2 weeks ago they gave me Xenophen (500mg) which is another form of ibuprofen. It's more an anti-inflammatory than a painkiller. My doctor said I could take Acetaminophen(500mg) and it was better.
Ask your dentist what you can do,
don't mix meds without consulting him first!
