i'm thinking the thing with candice is that it was some new move she was trying to do. and by move, one where it looked like she got hurt for the sake of the match. from what i read she had already done this little slip off the turnbuckle while in europe at a house show. which are usually the places that wrestlers practice new moves out or show off new moves to the crowd and then later they show them off on tv or ppv. but she came out of that fine. so she does the same move on raw and she didn't land it right and looked what happened. i don't see her doing that move anymore. and beth phoenix should have not grabbed candice by the head and pulled her. she should have just left her there and gone for the pin and then backed away.
great news about ecw. i'm sure it had something to do now that SD and ECW are sharing guys. i'm just wondering if it'll end up being like raw and SD used to be. where you would have to watch both shows to keep up with the storylines. all the giant guys showed up on ecw tonight. kane, big daddy v, kahli, and mark henry.

Stephanie McMahon blew up before the No Mercy pay-per-view a few weeks ago regarding Chris Jericho being revealed as the SAVEUS campaign. She was really interested in keeping the return a surprise, thus was very upset it leaked. Her reaction was to run all the company cell phone records of the writing team as well as do a forensic check of their computers and e-mails.
This is not the first time this has happened, as events have led to this in the past, but they did not find a guilty party. Some writers were using their company cell phones to make excessive private calls and they got reamed for it. Several of the writers were said to be upset because they have been under added stress recently with having to completely re-write the No Mercy pay-per-view one week before the show due to John Cena being injured. They felt it was not fair they were getting blamed for the information being leaked.
Stephanie is now talking about revising contracts that would disallow creative team members to speak out publicly and to specifically state that they don't have any ownership to their ideas. She also wants their contracts to ban them from being able to talk publicly after they are no longer with the company, about their experience with the company, or talk about the impressions of talent or anyone they met in the company. This would keep someone from going to TNA and sharing their WWE ideas.
The latest word is that Candice Michelle will be out of action 6-8 weeks (longer than initially reported) with a cracked clavicle. Below is the official report from WWE.com:
The following is from WWE.com:
Candice Michelle was injured after falling from the top rope in her match against Women's Champion Beth Phoenix on Raw. She was rushed to a local medical facility where it was determined she suffered a cracked clavicle.
Further tests are currently being conducted to rule out any other possible injuries. Candice will be out of action 6-8 weeks.
As previously reported, advanced local advertisements are promoting the Survivor Series main event as Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. Umaga & Randy Orton. It should be noted that the only thing that these advertisements mean are that at the time that they were made, this is the direction that WWE planned on going in. As we have seen over the past few months with injuries and other storyline changes, everything is subject to change as we get closer to the event. Survivor Series will take place on November 18th in Miami, Florida.
The reports coming from TNA mobile that Scotty 2 Hotty, Brian Christopher and Too Cold Scorpio may be in negotiations with TNA are totally false. The company is using their text messaging service to do nothing in this case but stir up talk and buzz for the company. (desperate, aren't they)
As announced on ECW last night, the main event for next week's ECW Sci-Fi broadcast will be The Great Khali vs. Mark Henry vs. Kane vs. Big Daddy V in a Monster Mash Battle Royal.
Khali and Henry made their ECW debuts last night, interrupting the Kane vs. Big Daddy V match. It looks like WWE is going ahead full force with the SmackDown and ECW talent exchange, which may be a good thing for the two brands.
The latest reports out indicate that Lashley will likely be returning from shoulder surgery in December.
There is talk within WWE about a trade of sorts where Mark Henry would go to RAW and Umaga would go to Smackdown. Vince likes the idea because it will provide for fresh opponents, and also likes the thought of an Undertaker/Umaga feud. The plan for Henry would be to feud with Cena.
The Boogeyman has been out of action with a calf injury since we last saw him on WWE TV. He is expected to return to ECW sometime in November. |
