Ellen may have signed a contract but this family didnt and there the ones that got hurt. Kids dont like giving up or losing dogs. ........ you cant just go to someones house and take a dog out of the yard, even if somehow you did consider it stolen.

The family deserved to have the dog taken away. Aparently the adoption service contacted them, and told them to come in and sign the correct papers and go through the correct procedure. However the family Ellen gave the dog to refused to cooperate, so they took the dog back. One of Ellen's represetatives also threatened the agency legally, and finacially. I think they did the right thing by taking the dog away based on the actions of Ellen & the family.
