He looks like a cute munchkin!

OK, just found this from Juliet's blog (that's the Juliet in The Morning show with Mike and Juliet)

And then there was Josh… Hartnett, or should I say “Heart-nett.” I met him in the greenroom prior to the show. He’s taller in person than most male celebs, who are shy of 6 feet usually… many, REALLY shy of 6 feet. I was wearing monster heels and was still looking up. He has the whole scruffy, rumpled look but I have to say, it’s pretty appealing on him, although that’s not usually my speed.

We chatted for a second, but you never know with celebs; sometimes they just want to hang out and be alone. Some like to get out in the greenroom and hang with the masses.

Unfortunately, Josh I don’t think was too keen on Mike asking him about “kissing on” that cutie-pie performer Rihanna. Josh’s face went from “I wish I could be back in the tiny makeup room” to “You two suck.” Ok, it wasn’t that bad, but he definitely made it clear he wasn’t happy about being asked about his personal life. It’s hard to tell, sometimes stars are open, sometimes they aren’t. I don’t blame him for not talking, I just wish he wouldn’t have seemed so irritated and I daresay disappointed with us.

But I do get why people want to keep on the down low. Not that I’m some big star, but it does worry me a little that someday my life will be thrown into chaos because of a rumor (“her boyfriend was hitting on some other girl!” or “did you hear what she did in college!??!”) You definitely have to grow thick skin. The worst comments I’ve had have been from actual viewers — haven’t had to deal with the gossip mill yet. Very happy about that! So Josh’s strategy of keeping his mouth shut about his personal life is probably a pretty smart one. Either that, or spill everything like Patricia Heaton (formerly of Everybody Loves Raymond, now on Back to You) does. She feels that if SHE gets everything out in the open, then no one else will do it for her. Makes sense, doesn’t it.

Perhaps then, if she thought Josh was a nice guy she could have shown him a bit more respect when she interviewed him... typical Fox Network!
