Here's the problem, and I've said this many times before: if you update the costume to make it something more palatable, the true fans are going to hate anyone associated w/this project, Eliza included, which WILL hurt her career overall (look what Daredevil did for Affleck's career when added to the disaster of Gigli). If you remain true to the character etc., it will be so campy she'll never gain anymore success from it. It's doomed either way you look at it.

If you look at the superhero movies that have succeeded recently (Spiderman, X-Men, Batman) they're ingrained characters whose costumes didn't need that much tweaking, Wolverine's aside, to be cool onscreen. Obscure characters such as Daredevil, Elektra, and Catwoman needed better scripts which they didn't get. Blade was an obscure character that succeeded because he provided a fresh look at a popular subject (vampires). Wonder Woman would appear to a highly limited audience and, as such, would require both costume tweaking AND a killer script to survive much less succeed. As I've said, too many potholes. Eliza needs a more sure thing at this point to get her name back in everyone's minds, not high risk projects like this. I think we all agree we want to see much more of her, not a project that would assure less of her career in movies/TV.
