I think screw driver sets are a waste of money unless you are really planning on doing a lot of stuff. Many of them you'll probably never use. A small and medium flat head and philips head will probably be all you need, one of those stubby flat heads can also be useful.
Hex key set is good.
Sockets and ratchet are also useful, a set of these is good because the sizing isn't flexible.
A pair of pliers is a must
