There's not a lot of things that break down around the place that we need tools, but recently I had to borrow my neighbour's tools to remove my car battery. And today I wanted to take apart my fan so I can clean it. I had a phillip's screwdriver but not the right hex key size. I got a bit frustrated and I stopped rather than throwing a fit over not having the necessary tools.

So, guys, help out a brotha. What are the essential tools to have in the home for home and car use?

So far I have in mind to buy:

• Screwdriver set
• Hex Key set
• Wrench set

And I know that their are different types of metals, too. Which are better?
