Was Sam hit? I thought he had just crashed from being overtaken by the allergy. But in any case, that raises a good question: Do you think he'll die? On the one hand, we did hear him say, in no uncertain terms, that if he were to eat a serving of peanut butter, "I'm a goner." On the other hand, his death at this point would have so many people devastated that it would be rather hard to squeeze much drama out of them, with reference to the things they've cared about up to this point, since the grief would so automatically supercede it all. My own guess is that he'll be in a coma for a while. Other thoughts?
