Christina Ricci Signs Luggage Deal
Christina Ricci has signed a deal to become the new face of luggage brand Samsonite.



Christina Ricci, 27, will star in an advertising campaign for Samsonite's Black Label line, shot by photographer KT Auleta.

Christina Ricci will become the face of new Fashionaire line under the Samsonite Black Label brand.

Black Label line by Samsonite was designed in collaboration with Cameron Silver, owner of Los Angeles-based vintage retailer Decades, who acts as a consultant, and Samsonite creative director Quentin Mackay.

One of recent Samsonite faces is actress Isabella Rossellini, former face of Lancome, who starred in a campaign alongside her model daughter.

Christina Ricci has previously starred in advertising campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Reebok.

Christina Ricci has a passion for vintage. “I view fashion as art,” said the pint-sized actress, who co-hosted the launch party for Samsonite’s Fashionaire collection at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Thursday night. “Wearing Madame Gres is like wearing a museum piece.”

Putting her money where her mouth is, Ricci accessorized her Sophia Kokosalaki cocktail dress with vintage Jean Schlumberger designed Tiffany & Co. bracelets. Ricci brought on her own creative team to her shoot, as she is the star in the company’s global relations campaign for the vintage inspired line.
