And seriously you cannot blame all your life-problems on 'it was because people looked at me in third grade', (??) 'people did this that'. Really the real problem starts within yourself! I still think deep rooted issues like her mixed heritage is WHY she struggled. She couldn't truly accept herself, then neither could others. When you can't accept yourself and be truly happy with who you are people won't find your person very attractive neither, and automatically chose to only look and not bother going any further. And when you lack that self confidence and don't believe in yourself, ofcourse you'll do the easiest thing, hide. Leading to the 'self hate'- repressing ethnicity issues, eating disorder, being insecure, cold,being that person people find it hard to interact with. It's all pretty obvious, and if she could allow herself to see that, that SHE might be the problem not everything or everyone else, she'd be a totally different person with so much more to offer on screen and off. |
