Spoon is a scientology crusader, I admire his tenacity! But tell me something real quick Phillip. What's the logic behind Xenu sending alienss to earth and then blowing them up with bombs?

I'm really amused by it. The bastard in me sees them more as an endless source of ridicule and entertainment. Scientology isn't a religion just like any other including the "Big 3", it takes the money of it's followers in a much more effiecent manner coupled with it's secrecy(stolen from the Masons ahh Fixr?) is what makes it so scary. William Cooper may very well have been a paranoid freak, who knows, but his explanation of why secret societies are inherently bad is right on. Although I'd like to think there are secret societies working against secret societies. What a tangled web we weave!.

PS: On the last issue of Atlantic the cover story is on the most influential Americans of the past decade, I think Hubbard should be at the top. Just like Christ, he has been criticized but future generations will realize he was right, just like Jesus.
