You see, a lot of it is just personal preference. Personally I feel she gets
more into the good girl characters like Tru. I found her portrayal of that character anything but a "yawnfest". Even in the first episode I thought she brought a lot more life and nuance to the character than she had with many previous characters.
The writing for some of her "bad girl" parts was better in my opinion, but that's the writing, not what she as an actor did with it.
Personally I think maybe it's just that you crush on bad girls
