WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The producers of "One Tree Hill," the teen drama filmed in Wilmington, will hold an open casting call this weekend for extras to participate in filming next month in Raleigh.
The producers of the CW Network series, starring Chad Michael Murray, will hold the casting call Saturday and Sunday at Cary Towne Center mall. They are looking for 300 to 500 people to be fans at a high school basketball game, said Kelly Ewing of Fincannon and Associates, a Wilmington-based casting company that handles casting for "One Tree Hill."
The basketball game scene will be filmed for two to three days in late October in Raleigh.
The casting call will be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and noon and 6 p.m. Sunday. Applicants should bring a photo of themselves.
