She's playing a religious role, that's what actors do. Just because someone takes a role doesn't mean they believe any of it in real life. Look at all those who loathe the military (alec baldwin)...and there they are, playing a soldier. I wouldn't read too much into the role. It's just another job. If it's a subject that offends you, don't see the movie. I'd just be happy to se anything new from her soon. |
