Interview with Bryan Greenberg from 7 August in which he talks about Nobel Son a little.
Quote:
You’ve also done another film which is coming out in cinemas soon, haven’t you called Nobel Son?
Yeah, I’m going to see it next week. It’s an independent movie and also has Alan Rickman, Danny De Vito and Eliza Dushku in it. I play the son of Alan, who’s a Nobel Prize winning chemist, and I’m this introverted character, who’s doing my PHD thesis in cannibalism to piss him off. I just stay in the coffee shop all day drinking the free milk, reading books on cannibalism and playing Gameboy all day. It’s that kind of character. It’s fun; it’s a fun ride. It’s definitely a dark movie. I believe you are also a singer and musician as well. Is it true that you got to sing some of your original songs on One Tree and have got an album coming out soon?
Yes I got the chance to do a couple which was great. That’s kinda what I’ve been doing with my time now is recording an album. Actually with the film Nobel Son they’re letting me put a song on the movie as well, which is cool. (Laughs)

Also, in an interview back in June,
Paul Oakenfold said this about the movie
Quote:
|
"It's like 'Pulp Fiction' meets 'Snatch,'" he says of the movie, directed by Randy Miller. "It's kind of an MTV demographic, and they wanted more electronic music than traditional scores."
