I'm not that surprised. This is more along the lines of the work Eliza used to do before she tried being a "good girl". Of course, it's much more serious and sounds like it has a lot more quality, but a movie about sex really isn't all that shocking for Eliza unless you're completely fooled by her little image makeover that's occurred over the last few years. I think this will be a project well suited for Eliza and should give her a chance to really act. Eliza + dark comedy + sex = awesome.
And I continue to notice that she ends up with the weirdest love interests in movies EVER. I'm kind of finding it hard to picture her with skinny little blonde Mac. She's going to break him! haha. |
