Saying "I'm with you, aren't I?" isn't that reassuring. I'm sure there are always other more beautiful women you just haven't met yet. With relationships it's always pretty much "take what you can get." Not many people will find someone nice and then put them on hold while they take a gander at the other available ladies before making a decision.
