Aside from that it really depends on what it would go up against. From everything I've read so far, it looks like they plan on keeping it on Fridays. Anyway, this past Friday's numbers certainly display how important Ghost Whisperer has been to the success of CBS on Fridays. |
Sunday does sound to us like a good fit with the audience. And according to the
chart Dave posted, Cold Case averaged 14.61 million viewers. The best Friday night show was
Numb3rs with 12.1 million (about a million more than
Ghost Whisperer). This suggests that Love's show could pick up 1.5 to 2.0 million viewers and become a top 20 show by moving to Sunday
Other posters have made an equally valid point that there is risk in moving a show and we can see that. Our point is simply that staying on Friday, a low viewership night, limits the potential audience for
Ghost Whisperer. That maybe OK. But to us putting on the show was a risk in the first place so why not go for broke?
