I read a fan fiction story a long while ago that could be a sequel to the movie. It was very good. I was surprised. It picked up after Danny’s death in the movie. The author managed to keep Danny alive even though no one knew. And Danny’s battle from very near death to back into his life was just as heart-wrenching as watching Danny die in the movie. The author also introduced a new character that turned out to be the perfect partner for him. The author really stayed true to his character. The story is told in 5 parts; however the author never finishes the last part – BUT IT IS WELL WORTH THE READ ANYWAY. I was communicating with her for a while, but she’s since disappeared. She’s really good. This would really work as a sequel. Her story doesn’t ruin the original movie at all. In fact it really adds to it. You get a lot of Danny and if you thought you loved him before…
