It's slow again today, so I'll finish my response to this topic...
7. What's you least favourite moment and would you change anything? It’s an overall thing for me. The movie emphasized Rafe as “big brother” and Danny as “little brother”. Like I said before, I read the book and in the book there was only a few months difference in their age but they were more even. Danny’s character was a little stronger. Danny didn’t come off so innocent. He and Rafe were more equal; on skill levels and abilities. And Danny flirted with Evelyn too at the eye exam. Although I love Danny in the movie and I understand how it had to be the way that it was, I would have let the book version of him be seen a little more.
8. Favourite quote. Danny: Yeah, well, I'm training for moments like these...'cause I have no idea how I'm gonna get this car out of the sand.
This is my favorite quote because of the way his voice sounded. And when he got to the word “sand”, I was like OMG. Like I hadn’t really heard his voice throughout the whole movie before then. I guess I was too busy watching him the first time. But after that, listening to him was just as important as watching him. |
