Thank you for this topic Kate. As soon as I saw Pearl Harbor it became one of my all time favorite movies. I didn’t know Josh, as least by name, before then either. I remember seeing the teaser months before and I thought “this guy is going to be a heartbreaker”. No pun intended. Like I said I didn’t know his name then. And the only part of him that was shown was him all greasy. And all he had to do was stand up and turn around. It was all over. I couldn’t wait to see this movie. I saw it opening week. I then saw it every few days or so for the next two months. I won’t even say how many times I saw the movie before it left theaters w/in driving distance of my house. It was literally 6 months later. And the day they dedicated all proceeds of movies sale for 911 – Pearl Harbor was the only movie I wanted to see. Then to top it all off, we got Josh Hartnett. Kind of new, making a big breakthrough in a big movie, and being so genuine and sincere with all the buzz swirling around him. Aside from being drop dead gorgeous, sexy as all get out, and just plain huggable. It hurt my heart to find out that he was still just a baby. I have since gotten over it. :D That was just one amazing summer for me. And since then, the dvd has not left my dvd player.
