I'm catholic too. I was not offended and I even smiled as well. The Pope was suffering while he was alive. He is in a better place now. I'm so sure his soul is not wondering around earth worrying about jokes. I'm also sure the Pope would want anyone affected by him to continue his good work and not be beating each other up over 1 joke.
