I love Smallville to death but I really hope S5 is the last. I really think you CAN get too much of a good thing, and then all just turns to crap. You gotta know when to close up shop. Seinfeld and Friends had a good run and bowed out gracefully. Simpsons on the other hand, still going, and still IMO getting worse. (and still as irreverant as ever)
Maybe Millar/Gough wants to create an even larger powerhouse than they already have. But as far as dinero is concerned, the main stars of SV are set for the rest of their life, that's for sure.
I just hope they don't pull a Jordan or a Tru Calling with the show. Or maybe they'll do spin-offs. "Smallville: Special Victims Unit" anyone? [img]smile.gif[/img] |
