ABC's "V" to Take a Break
Sep 25, 2009 09:16 PM ET ABC will air its alien-invasion drama V in two parts starting in November and then continuing after the Olympics in March 2010.
"We're planning to air four episodes in November and end with a cliff-hanger," a rep for the show tells TVGuide.com. In March, the show will resume airing the rest of the original 13-episode order, which has not changed with the new airing schedule. V continues to be on a production hiatus until mid-October, an insider tells TVGuide.com.
At the fall TV previews, Steve McPherson, ABC's entertainment prez, said they were planning a non-traditional way to air the series. "We always intended to break the show up into 'pods' to make it more of an event," the rep adds. |
