I don't see a comparison to her father in Cash, but I don't know how he came up. Her father was a middle class hard worker who invested a lot into taking care of his family and keeping food on the table. I get too much of a pretty boy, easy life vibe from Cash but I don't know him so I can't say. Has her father "approved" of him at all? I haven't seen anything on that.

As for the name, my mind always goes, "Yeah, Cash mmmmmoney, baby," when I hear it which equates w/"This honey could get me social status, yo!" somehow. Maybe I spent too much time watching Flava Flav on the MTV show w/Brigitte Nielsen, I don't know.
