My case in point: my mama taught me that you always assist a lady w/typically manly duties such as pack mule work, opening doors, etc. especially your friggin' girlfriend! Somebody needs to show him his and her checkbooks and explain to him if he ain't at least doing the manly stuff he ain't worth keepin' around, which Jess will figure out sooner or later. Trying not to sound mysogynistic here but I AM old-fashioned when it comes to that, I admit.
