A beautiful woman without a boyfriend is about as rare as titanium shoelaces. You just don't see it very often. We all agree Lacey fits the description, right? A boyfriend doesn't impress me. The real question is, does she have a SERIOUS boyfriend, someone she feels strongly about, and who presumably feels strongly about her in return.
My personal opinion is that she doesn't. A SERIOUS boyfriend would be seen with her on his arm at some point. Not saying they COULDN'T keep it secret, but that they WOULDN'T. How many love letters and propositions do you think Lacey gets a day? 100? 1000? And that's not even counting the ones I send her.
It's probably less than that, since she's allowed her popularity to flag so severely, but still, it has to be an annoyance. Don't you think announcing to the world, "I have a boyfriend" would significantly stem the flood, and that that would be a welcome change?
On the other hand, she could be a cold-hearted, money-grubbing witch, trying to lure us all into thinking she is available so we'll keep fantasizing about meeting her and spending money on her. How many of you fellow lackies would buy Lacey lunch if you could meet her? And how many would still do it even if you knew she was in a serious relationship and would have ZERO interest in you? I think that would cut down on her free lunches.
Despite what all the swag she gets may lead you to believe, I don't believe she's the kind of person who would do that to the people who pay her to entertain them, and that it's advantageous to her peace of mind to get us all to stop trying to convince her that I'm the best man for her. Therefore she or her beau (if he existed) should be stumbling over themselves to let it be known that she is forever out of our reach.
Of course, we don't really know that much about her to know how hard she's looking for a man. She doesn't talk about anything any more. We're all supposed to guess, I guess. Is she even interested in a family any more? Does she still want to act in a movie that the majority of her fans would have watched even without her in it? Does she want to direct or produce?
