I do remember Joe Simpson saying that "now Jessica is married, she can have sex till she's blue in the face" during an interview. It was very strange to hear daddy say that.
On the flipside being her manager/show producer, he must know what it takes to make a name for those girls these days. (See Alba's magazine shots) I watched the Simpson family story on VH1... they tried to go the route of the innocent girl (especially when battling Christina and Britney for the spotlight) at the very beginning with her covering her body up and that didn't work well with sales. Maybe he's just helping them play their parts... as mentioned - he is their manager too.
