Is it me, or did anyone else pick up the subtle sexism inherent in these interviews? Like Lacey's line of "as a woman... it's something you have to look out for" or the other person's line of "it was a female stalker?!" as if females never do this sort of thing. I've been chastised more for wanting to inspect muslims at airports than women get for being cautious around men. I call double standard on that! Maybe I've had too many beers tonight, but am I wrong? |
