I just watched the movie with my mother. It was a powerful film. Slow start, but as the film keeps rolling...it started to get intense. I love the scene when the women tried to looks their best on the first day. I love the lady with the seahorse tea powder. Her begging scene was very emotional but passionate. Amanda's scene that followed was phenomenal, the "it's not fair...I can't do this anymore." It was heart-wrenching. I wish Amanda got more lines and a story arc, but it is understandable since the cast is huge. I wish they would add a scene where Amanda gives a motivational speech to the patients. I love the ending! And I'm glad after all that Amanda took part of this film. Now I wish Amanda would go out and start making more good films. |
