I'm sure something will turn up soon. I think it's way to early for a topic like this but I can see where you're coming from. All those rumors plus all this waiting is driving me crazy too.

Amanda isn't the type to bang out three films a year just because she can. She's more laid back. She's not after the attention or the fame. What I mean by that is many actors jump on to as many films as they can fit into their schedule just for the money, or for getting their name out and building a long resume, or keeping their name alive and making connection with producers and directors along the way. Maybe this is what Amanda should be doing, if a huge acting career is what she's after. But I don't think it is. I agree with wonderboy when he said "I think Amanda's career isn't going anywhere because she doesn't want it to".

We have to accept that Amanda is just not like the other actors out there. She doesn't care about fame. She doesn't want to draw too much attention to herself. Whenever she does do another movie, it's going to be a really great story with some meaning behind it. And it's going to adhere to her standards. I respect her for having those standards and really sticking to them.

I'm not looking at this as a low point in her career at all. This waiting period gives me high hopes. It means she is about to do something different. When it happens, it's going to be amazing.
