After reading that about the butt crack scene and hearing how she wanted script changes to Sydney White I think it is safe to say that Amanda needs to lighten up. I love her but I question if Sydney White was a better script before she asked for changes to be made.If so, the changes could have been what made the film flop.

I am not saying Amanda needs to do toielt humor and raunchy sex comedies, but she should be a tad more realistic. Nudity is not a bad thing as long as it is done tastefully and smart. Look at Anne Hathaway, Reese Witherspoon, and Natalie Portman. I think Natalie in the film 'Closer' was brilliant. Amanda could easily do any of the films these three actresses have done only better. Amanda would have been great in Devil Wears Prada for example.

She is a beautiful woman and she has lots of sex appeal. To shy away from that is a mistake. Brittany Snow played a hooker in her last film and she didn;t show any skin. I think Brittany has a very interesting career. She has played the nice girl (John Tucker Must Die) and they bad girl (Hairspray). She has done a horror film as well as drama. She has shown she is very versatile. Amanda needs to take a page out her playbook.

I am not saying Amanda needs to take her clothes off in order to jump start her career. I am saying she needs to have an open mind. She is coming across as being to prudish and this is only adding to her goody good girl image. She can be a positive role model and still be a little on edge if you know what I mean. One of the things I like and admire about Amanda is she is not very concerned with her body image. She is not a skinny tart like so many actresses her age in Hollywood and she seems to eat what she wants and not worry about gaining a few pounds. A lot of men actually like this. My BF thinks I need a little more meat on my body and guys actually find this sexy. So, I am puzzled why as secure Amanda is with her body that she feels as uptight about nudity as it seems she does.

Nudity does not mean porn. She doesn't have to do a love or sex scene to do nudity. I also think she should consider some other things such as subject matter. As much as I liked the film "Knocked Up' I think Amanda would have been all wrong for it. On the other hand Amanda playing Anne Hathaway's role in a film like 'Brokeback Mountain' would have been very smart.

Amanda would have been great in Enchanted but I would love have seen her do a film like Enchanted and then turn around and do a film like Brokeback. In order to compete in this business you have to show that you can do many things. This is how you get a bigger and better variety of scripts.

Amanda would be PERFECT playing the villan in a comedy. She needs to play the bad girl and just ham it up. She needs to take more bold risks and stop playing it safe.

I think Amanda needs to shock not only her fans but the general population. When I say shock I don;t mean something raunchy or vulgar but something out of character for her but still good and admirable. I say get out of the teen dramas and realize your audience from 'What I Like About You' and Nickolodean are getting older. Even a TV series is something she needs to consider. I love Amanda and have faith in her. She won't ruin her career.
