I really thought Hairspray was going to launch Amanda's career like crazy. It pretty much did so with all the main cast members. Heck, even Nicole Blonsky scored two gigs after. The only gigs Amanda scored after the success of Hairspray was a brief voice-over for Family Guy and a small supporting role in tv Lifetime "Living Proof" I don't understand why Amanda failed to capitialize her success in Hairspray. Maybe it was her agent or agency fault, if so then I am glad that she left CCA. Everytime I see Amanda somewhere in photos, I'm always hoping that she is at a certain event because she is talking to some producers/directors about a new role. I thought after Amanda dyed her hair back to brunette, I surely thought some new role was going to be announce very soon. I thought there was a movie-related purpose for changing back to her natural haircolor. I'm sick of all the movie rumors, all of them never greenlighted. All the recent movie rumors, that's great...but none of them are offically confirm although the info came from credible sources. At first I was rather reluctant in Amanda perhaps doing her first BroadWay play, now I see that it may be her last resort. IT is kind of funny though, there are many bright moments throughout Amanda's career, somehow Amadna never embraced her success. Every single time I noticed a highlight in Amanda career, she somehow slowed her career by just vanishing...it makes me wonder if she is doing it on purpose. If the broadway play is her only chance of her getting diverse roles, then do it. I still think it is a good idea for Amanda to work on her movie career at the moment. This scene in Amanda's career makes me wish I was living at new York. Seeing Amanda perform lived would be truly awesome. I wish us Amanda fans can be Amanda's agent, I think we will be successful in turning Amanda's career around.

know that there are alot of factors in when a movie is able to film, but if possible this is how I would set it up Amanda's schedule from fall 2008-Fall 2009 if I was her agent (I'll include in only the credible work that Amanda has been anounced in)

Fall 2008: BroadWay Play
Jan 2009-April 2009 Go film the Trump/Hilton Musical (For a Spring 2010 release)
June 2009-Early August 2009- go film Bumped or some other film (Summer/Fall 2010 release)
Fall 2009- Go film Hairspray 2 for a July 2010 release(That is what the studio is aiming for)
And in between, maybe some more Family Guy episodes guest-spots. I love Family Guy and Amanda and Seth seemed to get along just fine.
